PK hai kya ?

 A post after quite sometime!  Hangovers are good.... especially when it comes after watching a nice movie .......  This will be a delirious post I say ;) ..

Watching a movie on its first day has its own set of excitement!  Yes i was indeed excited to watch PK on the very first day it was released. Since nobody had any clue about what the story was, we went with full excitement specially because it was aamirs movie !! yea i love him as an actor! He is one actor whom i would compare with kamal hassan, experimenting with different roles and giving his full dedication for the final best result. 

We entered the theatre and me as usual made a note of all available eatables around to come and buy during the interval. The foodie in me never lets me walk past through them :P  The only interesting option of popcorn made me a lil disappointed but i placated myself that the movie would make me feel better !

While waiting to go inside i saw the crowd from the previous show coming out. Amma and me discussed lets see the face of those people,it could give us an idea of how the movie would have been! And there, we were disappointed to see all serious and dull faces.We entered the hall with minimal expectations. 

Oh boy !! How wrong we were,about the expression from the previous crowd !! The movie started well.... All i remember was how hard it was for me, not to fall down from the chair while laughing, Yes it was indeed a very long time since i laughed so much after watching a movie! The whole theatre was with me in the laughter chaos!Amidst all these fun and frolic i couldn't help myself admiring the very cute aamir!! QSQT - PK !! Man he is one charm! ;)  I dint like anushka sporting a boy cut!! She looks lovely with a long hair!But yes she is one lively actress whom i admire! There was this other chocolate boy who took my breathe away !! Sarfaraaz!! Oops Sushant singh rajput !! Whattey smile ! Whattey charm!! First half went off very well with laughter... admiring aamir, sushant....and yes  last but not the least, they showed what the whole story was supposed to be based on!

Yes... Here is the main story !! No No don't worry this won't be a spoiler ! It will only be my discussion about the storyline/concept and not about the Movie story! Yes now after the intermission and my popcorn session, I started to watch the movie which was a bit slow initially but the speed took off mainly due to the storyline which kept us engaged!

God.. Concept of god.... Methods of belief.... Messengers of god or managers of god as aamir mentions... is such a thought provoking topic. Religion is something personal.... Each one is entitled to follow whichever they want to. And like aamir says ,nobody comes with a chaapa(seal) as to who has to be what! It is we people who decide rules,methods,practises.... the use or misuse of it by the people get gods/religion the blame. How funny! The religious heads,the religious gurus,religious ashrams etc were  formed to guide people and teach them good values and help them lead a peaceful life. And those godmen claim to connect people with god for betterment of life. I am no one to comment regarding the genuineness of such people, I prefer to leave it to the individual who has the same 6 senses to decide what is right or wrong or who is right or wrong.... And the term right and wrong itself is a relative term in our society.. what is right/wrong for one person may not be right/wrong for another. So belief and right/wrong is decided according tohow each individual wants to live his life! Aamir beautifully portrays how few godmen take advantage of people by controlling their fear and misleading them and controlling their lives.

I would like to mention a  point mentioned by the supposedly wrong godman, people go through so much untold miseries,pain,troubles,failures etc...and finally what they want is hope and if you tell them don't believe in anything, how else will they develop hope! A good question isn't it?! 

Finally the movie beautifully explains how an individual should think and question himself regarding all these belief and get a logical convincing answer before following anything blindly. Its gods duty to protect us and not our duty to protect god. People turn blind and end up committing things in the name of protecting god! There is a nice question asked by aamir in the movie, when you believe its god who has created this universe.. you and me and everything... and he is the one who protects us.. doesn't he know to protect himself?!

Every question asked or situation portrayed in the movie makes us think think and think!! A wonderful movie intellectually satisfying! :)High time people realize that the methodology of praying to god needs to be reformed for the good !! :)  

Like how every law in the Indian Penal code cannot be applied now for many cases and how new laws have to be introduced, we as youngsters should really take efforts in bringing reality into religion! :) 

On a concluding note, the movie left me thinking more and discussing  the ideology with family. A thought provoking movie which should be taken in the right sense to enjoy it !! Go watch it to experience the hangover! :)
