You need to get that mood to write a blog... no seriously... i am a big fan of liking all wedding photography pages in facebook...trust me every other wedding photographers page will have me as a member lol... Weddings are so beautiful when you look at a photographers point of view.... The colours and the grandeur.. the togetherness in a single frame.... Keeps us all in awe!

I came across a sangeet video of an acquanitance in youtube..  man!!trust me it was lovely.... It was simple.... imperfect... silly and thats what made it so lovely... The main reason is that the whole family who came together youngest to the oldest learnt steps in a day or 2 and tried performing ... It was a south indian family mind it!! But the enthusiasm showed by the relatives.. the togetherness .. without the feeling of kaun kisse bada ( who's greater than the other)...not bothered about being perfect but yet opening oneself to the crowd specially for their family was just wonderful... 

Mauj masti in a shaadi really paves way for strengthening the relationships between all the family members... But actually when you put away the thought of what a waste of time/money in these extra stuff in a wedding,You actually learn about how the bond between family grows more due to this not so important stuff.... Wedding blossoms into a marriage due to such lovely things in a wedding ...  Sangeet a Must have if its possible, to experience a wedding blossoming in to a marriage!!!!:)

Choosing a guy in an arranged marriage

The other day when i went for a family function, i met a 24 year old girl. Her parents had started looking out for grooms for her . Though she was ready to get married she had her own apprehensions and questions in her mind. " How do i select my life partner in one meet or how will i know if he is the one for me even after few conversations? "  She was very worried about selecting a life partner through arranged marriage where many of her friends found their life partners themselves , thereby without any worries as she assumed. Don't let others influence your priorities in life!

I seriously got fed up reading posts and articles where they mentioned how sad it is to see women choosing to leave their career to take care of family. How such a talented, highly qualified friend/cousin of theirs became a housewife and how the society looks down at a woman who choses family over career. Making such a woman a coward is total BS ! Our generation is going mad, going nowhere. Nobody thinks about their priorities in life. High time people understand they shouldnt confuse between capability and priorities in life. What do i see around me? A huge group of highly talented, highly successful , high earning ladies giving up their jobs post marriage due to the reasons known very well to them prior marriage. Then why does the society blame the parents/in laws or the husband when the girl conciously takes the decision to marry despite the possible odds post marriage?
